Singapore Biennale Vernissage Programme (PDF: 333KB) The official opening took place on the 9 September 2008 at the South Beach Development, Beach Road. Officiated by Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, the opening ceremony marked the start of the premier international contemporary art event in Singapore. Organised by the National Arts Council (NAC), Singapore Biennale 2008 (SB2008) is led by Artistic Director Fumio Nanjo and curated by Matthew Ngui and Joselina Cruz under the theme of Wonder. Media Accreditation
Media participation at Singapore Biennale 2008 is subject to accreditation by the National Arts Council and Singapore Biennale Secretariat. We ask that you apply the accreditation online between now and not later than 18 October 2008.

Please note that media accreditation numbers may be limited. On-the-spot accreditation will not be accepted. Art professionals need to complete a separate professional accreditation form to attend the professional preview events of the Biennale.
