    Be part of the dizzy 10-week contemporary art extravaganza held at various different historic sites and new developments around the island.  The Singapore Biennale (SB) features a line-up of artists from around the globe representing various art disciplines.

    SB2008 promises to inspire, delight and engage audiences with a smorgasbord of events, exhibitions and activities showcasing different types of contemporary art including sculptures, paintings, installations, new media, performances, photography, film & video, sound, murals and furniture design. It promises to be a multisensory experience.

    The event kicks off with a private Vernissage held on the 9 and 10 of September.

    The Singapore Biennale is an international contemporary mega visual arts exhibition. It will feature 50 renowned international and local artists, who hail from various artistic disciplinary backgrounds. The exhibitions open to the public from 11 September until 16 November 2008.
       

    The preview of the exhibition will be held over 2 days on the 9 & 10 September 2008 with a series of programmes lined up for VIP's, invited guests, professionals and the general public.

    SB2008 is committed to building new arts audiences and broadening arts participation, thus bringing across exciting programmes that are designed to engage the young minds and the community at large.

      Kids' Biennale for primary schools has been developed with the aim to inspire, instil and engage children through participation in the series of art workshops, competition and activities. Singapore Biennale and Little Art Bug Workshop jointly develop the related programmes.
